Sammie R. is an award-winning photographer and the creative heart behind Sammie R. Studios, serving Omaha, Papillion, and the surrounding Midwest. An Iowa native and proud mom of two, Sammie began her photography journey by simply taking her kids to the park with a camera in hand. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a thriving business built on passion, creativity, and connection.
Specializing in family portraits, senior photography, and children’s sessions, Sammie captures genuine emotion and timeless storytelling in every image. As a remote photographer, she offers clients a variety of beautiful, personalized locations—whether that’s a golden-hour park, rustic family farm, urban downtown, or cozy home session—ensuring every photo reflects the heart of her subjects.
In addition to leading her own brand, Sammie is a contributing photographer for Papillion Lifestyle Magazine and has been featured in multiple regional and national publications for her work in fine art and lifestyle portraiture. Her ability to blend artistry with authenticity has made her a sought-after voice in the Midwest creative community.
Beyond photography, Sammie is deeply involved in her community. She partners with Special Olympics Nebraska, Make-A-Wish Iowa, and the Girl Scouts of Nebraska Outreach, and remains an active member of her faith-based community, using her creative gifts to uplift, empower, and connect others through meaningful storytelling.

It really just depends on my workload at that time, but I typically have a turn around of 16 days.

Please give 24 hours notice if something comes up. We can try to reschedule. After a second cancellation, the session fee will not be refunded. Any cancellation less than 24 hours will not receive a refund of the session fee.
